In a high quality recording, dissonances and going out of tune are forbidden. Maybe that’s why the career of Haritz Harreguy has been serene and harmonious, without shrillness. Since the beginning in 1993 at Elkar’s sound studio, Haritz has slowly made his mark. In 2000, he founded Garate Studios in cooperation with Kaki Arkarazo, where he worked for eight years on many well-known artist’s productions and he defines his detailed, demanding and almost artisan style that he later transferred to his own recording studio. Nowadays, Haritz is a reference to a successful groups such as Pasión Vega, Loquillo, Alex Ubago or Ken Zazpi. He has succeeded in his own way, without noise.
